Yes! Spring is finally in the air. With Easter around the corner I decided to make a mini album for a friend of mine. These make great gifts for family and especially grandparents.
Here are some of the K & Co. products I used which were generously donated by EK Success.
There are pockets at each end of the mini album to tuck away some more pictures or journaling cards. On the large chipboard stickers I dusted the backs with some baby powder then adhered 3D foam squares along the edge of the chipboard so a photo could still be tucked behind it.
Here is the cover of the mini album-perhaps it would look cute with some ribbon tied around it to keep it closed.
HAPPY SPRING! This is Anna from St@mpAnna Designs. I am here to share with you a card I made. I thought this card was fitting for SPRING because of the Rainbow in the background.
I used a white cardstock base. Then some watercolor paper that I used my Distress inks on to give them the watercolor rainbow in the background.
I cut from my silhouette the chevron design and adhered it on top of the watercolor paper.
I stamped my sentiment on white cardstock and cut it out and glued to the front of my card. The little butterfly is from a Martha Stewart Punch.

Scrapbooking our photos is fun and sometimes also challenging. Often we're reluctant to cut or crop our photos, but cropping can actually help you create an attractive and meaningful scrapbook page. Today's video offers tips on how to crop your photos to tell your story. Enjoy, and post your comments and questions!
Hi, Carla here with this week's video. Are you new to scrapbooking or card-making? One of the first tools you'll need is a paper trimmer. Before you buy one, check out today's video to see a couple of different types of trimmers. Then you can choose the type that's right for you.
It might seem to go without saying, but safety first! Always keep fingers away from the blade of your paper trimmer!
Elizabeth here and guess what? It's your lucky day! Today's post will be quick ... I promise. Blink and you might miss it. Lol. Anywho, I'm trying something new so fingers crossed today is also my lucky day and that things will work out as planned.
Sure hope so. I have no Plan B.
Here's the backstory ... I needed an orange printable for my St. Patrick's Day bookshelf decor and soon discovered they were hard to find. Seems that green is the color of choice for "Lucky" themed prints ... who knew?
I bet you're asking, why orange? Well ... my ancestors were Protestant Irish, not Catholic Irish. For this reason, my mom always insisted we don the orange rather than the green (which btw made for some bruised forearms in grade school) thus my decor reflects that heritage. Plus ... orange is just yummy. Mmmm ... orange cream slushes from Sonic ... now that's some serious yummy ... but I digress ...
So since I was having no luck finding an orange printable, I decided to make one of my own. And because I like you dear readers, I'm sharing it (hopefully) with you.
It's simple. It's basic. It's my first attempt. But hey, at least I figured out how to create it in two color schemes. Yay me!
So if Plan A works, click on the image below that you would like to download and magically something should happen to allow you to do that. If it doesn't, Plan B will involve some more research and stress eating ...
