Happy World Card Making Day

Hi Everyone,

Happy World Card Making Day!

Anna and Darlene here to share with you what we made today (so far).  We are still in the process of making some cards.

How is your day turning out?  Are you doing anything creative?

Here is a close up of the cards.

This card was made by Darlene.  This is a Swing Card.  Where you open it and the circle flips to show the back.  The stamp is by Paper Smooches and was colored in with copic markers.  Darlene stamped the image twice so she could cut out the leaves to add some dimension to the acorn.

Here is another view of the acorn flip card.

This is card #2.

This card is made by Anna and again is using Paper smooches stamps  I colored the image with distress markers by Tim Holtz and blended with a water pen.  I cut out the image and adhered to my card front with foam dots.

Another Flip card made by Anna.  No stamping involved here just some chipboard embellishments from my stash.

This card above is made by Anna and again is using Chipboard Embellishments from my stash.  Simple Cute and ready to pop in the mail.

Yes, Folks,  I saved the best for last.  Isn't this a sweet sweet card.  Also made by Darlene and she used a old Stampin' Up Stencil to do the clouds with her distress inks.  The image is by Paper Smooches and the sentiment is by Kraftin Kimmie.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope you have a wonderful week end.

See you next time on the Blog.

Boo-tiful Chipboard Album and Giveaway!

Hello crafty friends....Darlene here!

Halloween is right around the corner so I was inspired to create this Mini Chipboard Album which measures 5" x 7". Most of the products used on this project were generously donated by EK Success.
I started with a plain kraft chipboard album by K & Co. which served as my base. I simply covered the chipboard with fun patterned papers and some beautiful embellishments. The pattern papers were a combination of Martha Stewart, K & Co. and My Mind's Eye. I used Jolee's, Melissa Frances along with K & Co. stickers and embellishments. Using distress ink along the edges of the album, photo mats and embellishments helped give it a vintage feel.
I always keep a basket of mini albums on my coffee table and change them out every few months. Chipboard albums are wonderful for gift giving too. With that said, I have decided to give away this Boo-tiful album! Be sure to go to Facebook and like our Fan Page: HERE and don't forget to leave a comment on this blog post to be eligible to win. A random winner will be chosen on October 5, 2013. Good Luck!

Trick or Treat Card

Hi Everyone,

Anna here from St@mpAnna Designs.

I am here with another card share. Yep, I am getting into the spirit of Halloween.  :)
Isn't he the cutest?  :)  He is from "Dylusions" Stamps by Ranger.  The name of the set he came from is Monster Mash.  I stamped him out on Copic x-press it paper and colored him in with my copic markers. He did not come with the circles on his coat so I drew those in with my Copic Multi-liner and filled in with purple Spica glitter pen.  I fussy cut him out and popped him up on the finished card and then added a little glossy accents to eyes.

The green paper is by K & Company Tim Coffey Specialty Paper called:  TC Halloween 6 x 6 specialty pad. (as part of the Creative Artist Team this was a courtesy of EK Success Brands)

The other paper is DCWV and regular black card stock for the base.

The Sentiment stamps is by Inkadinkado (another Courtesy of EK Success Brands in my last box I received.)  The set is called :  Halloween Expressions wood stamp set and can be found by clicking HERE. I stamped it on piece of white card stock scrap and cut it out with fish tails on each end.  I then inked around the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoy the card.
